Here's a series of shots from Nevada City, California. Despite the cute architecture of the town, I spent most of my time shooting the things I usually shoot, and that make my wife very skeptic about my claims of progressing as a photographer...
Last week, I had the chance to spend a few hours in SF walking about, hand-in-hand with my wife (while holding my X-Pro2 in the other hand...)
Here are some photos from last weekend, covering a bit of ground around the Bay Area. I'm sticking to the 23mm for now, and I think I'm getting more comfortable with it.
Here are few shots I took over the weekend at the Oakland Museum. As I was walking by, I noticed this bench basked in the harsh mid-day light, and decided to snap a few shots.
One of the benefits of business trips is that they give you the opportunity to go shoot photos in unfamiliar places.
Here's another series of photos from that time in downtown SF, still playing with light and composition. I took several shot of the photo above, some including people walking into the frame, and somehow I manage to mess up all of those.
Following up on the previous post, here are a few more photos from my latest session in downtown SF.
Since my family was traveling the world while I was stuck home working, I made use of my weekends to take photos around San Francisco. This is why I was able to do so many Weekend Expedition posts over the past few weeks. Moving forward, I will have a lot less of those to post.
Here is a selection of shots from my second session with the X-Pro2. I hit the streets of Downtown SF early on Sunday morning and started snapping to my heart content. The light was mostly dull since we're still enjoying the usual summer overcast, but as the sun peaked through the clouds, I got the chance to snap a few shots I like.
Today, I went for a short street photography session in San Francisco. It was the opportunity for me to test the X-Pro2 I just received and figure if I like its handling or not.
